"Moses was also faithful, but Jesus gets far more honor. A builder is more valuable than a building any day. Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. Moses did a good job in God's house, but it was all servant work, getting things ready for what was to come. Christ as Son is in charge of the house."
Sometimes I tend to compare how certain people have the flair or anointing when it comes to spiritual leadership. I was thinking to myself, I want to be like that too, so that I can do a good job in leading the sheep entrusted t me.
But no matter what, I have to remember that I'm still a steward and servant in all the things I do. Jesus is the ultimate receiver of the Glory.
Hebrews 4:1-3 (MSG)
"...We received the same promises as those people in the wilderness, but the promises didn't do them a bit of good because they didn't receive the promises with faith..."
Promises of God are abound. But if I didn't believe in what God tells me, then it is as good as not receiving the promises.
Have faith, believe and act as if the promises will come. Indeed, at the end, the promises of God will surely come.
